Lessons from Herfano.

“…many of us went on to achieve other things in the word but our choices were infused by our experiences in the Huerfano...”

Across the great divide - a photographic chronicle of the secret life within hippie commune life.

Aspects of the commune way of life did not die out with the end of the 60's with incentives such as community gardens, skill sharing and co-housing enjoying a recent welcome spike in popularity.

Although we are willing to admit the once invisioned magical utopia may be forever out of reach, we think this is one visually beautiful story.

There is indeed much we can inherit from these beautiful, young, long haired idealists.
